A friend of mine told me about the best gateway into Iran – Hossein. This talented young man runs a small travel service, where he emphasizes on enthusiastic motorcyclists – being one himself. I contacted Hossein months before my RTW departure and immediately felt his personal touch and friendliness.

Visiting Hossein, his parents Abbas and Hajar and brother Araz, was a great beginning of exploring Iran – their hospitality and warmth was so pure. All the small moments, going for a lunch on Hossein’s motorbike, taking midday nap or having a breakfast in the courtyard, were all so relaxed and enjoyable. I really felt at home.
