Something fascinated me when Ásdís started talking about hiking around Mont Blanc, Europe’s highest mountain. Was it the 170 kilometers long trails that took us through three different countries? The intense altitude change? The beauty and mysteriousness of Mont Blanc? Probably all of it. Off we went with a group of six other passionate hikers. I am less experienced in hiking than the others in our group, so my challenge was not only to hike around the mountain, but to keep up! This video is the first of two that I made and is dedicated to my travel partners: Sigrún Ósk, Árni, Erla Rut, Jóhanna, Vilhjálmur and Sólveig. A new era may be beginning for me.
