Dubai – Extreme

During my trip from Bandar Abbas to Dubai, I met Mazin from Oman and Jonathan from Australia. We arrived late and Jonathan invited me to stay in his parent’s apartment in Dubai. The view was fantastic from the balcony at the 90th floor.
To build something on sand – is an expression which means that the foundation is missing. Well, in Dubai they have challenged this expression because they have built a whole city on sand. Among the houses is the tallest building in the world.
One would imagine that it would be impossible to ski in a country that belongs to a desert. Not in Dubai because you can ski on regular skis and then go to the desert in 20 minutes and enjoy the 42 degrees hot weather.

The workshop guys at the BMW premises serviced my motorcycle and prepared it for the airlift to New Delhi India, as I did not want to go slide through Pakistan or Afghanistan.
