The Great Ocean Road

Riding the Great Ocean Road in South Australia inspires awe in me, both for the country and it’s beautiful coastline. Seldom have I seen as long or beautiful coasts as in this country. Camping adds to the feeling of being part of this magnificent natural landscape. The Twelve Apostles, a collection of limestone stacks offshore, make the landscape even more dramatic.
There is no wonder that this land is filled with wineries; the countryside on the way to The Great Ocean Road is well situated – in terms of climate and soil – for the cultivation of grapes into wine.
