It was certainly a good decision to start our three months of travel by flying into Auckland, New Zealand. We decided to spend a few days there to adjust to the time difference so we could be better prepared for our next adventure – a three week motorcycle trip. It only took a high speed ferry 20 minutes to bring us to the Waiheke Island, where we spent the day at Oneroa beach, beautiful place which is nearly right in the heart of Auckland City.
