To be on my motorcycle at world famous places in New York City, like The Statue of Liberty and Ground Zero, where the Twin Towers used to stand, was very special for me. I never imagined that I would be riding in downtown Manhattan when I started this Round The World trip 10 months ago.

I crated and shipped my bike from John F. Kennedy airport but flew myself to Boston. There, I stayed with my American brother (from my year as an exchange student) and his wife Lisa before flying back to Iceland. It was a privilege to stay with them for few days and get adjusted a little bit to a normal “none-motorcycle” life.
